About the Artist:  Romia Christina Ernst started her range of ceramics after exploring her passion for stoneware. Interpretations of everyday objects like cups, bowls and plates are complemented by her signature ashtrays that evoke moments of contemplation, frozen in time. Each piece is handmade and glazed in Berlin by Romia Christina Ernst herself from sustainably sourced materials.

Bundle includes:

Superfine, organic green clay mask; handmade ceramic bowl; application brush.

Mask Quantity: 80g

Mask Odour: Almost scentless

What Makes It So Amazing?

When the clay mask dries, it acts like a magnet that pulls out all toxins and leaves your skin velvety soft. This removes excess bacteria, sebum, dead skin cells and aids against deep-seated clogged pores. The clay can be applied directly to breakouts overnight, until the area heals.

Its natural nutrients stimulate your skin’s blood circulation to ensure a bright, balanced and radiant complexion.

Its antibacterial properties work to soften, smooth and regenerate your skin. While also helping to heal skin infections such as acne, eczema or hives.

KEY MINERALS

Mineral: Illit - The Absorber

Illit's absorbent properties  remove excess bacteria, sebum, dead skin cells and deep-seated clogged pores. Known for it's ability to deliver essential minerals to the skin, it supports the overall health and regeneration process of your skin.

Mineral: Bentonite - The Healer

Bentonite is a soothing, antibiotic-rich mineral that can cure skin infections such as acne, eczema or hives. It speeds up the healing process, especially on sensitive skin.

Mineral: kaolinite - The Nourisher

Kaolinite is a skin-friendly mineral that softens and regenerates the skin. It provides your skin with an effective dose of natural nutrients.

CLAIRE'S TIP

There are three phases of a clay mask. There's the damp phase where your skin drinks in the beneficial minerals from the outside. Then you have the start of the dry phase, which exercises your capillaries and stimulates blood flow as the mask cools and contracts. But then there's the dry phase, which draws out impurities from the surface of your skin.

Wait until the mask feels ‘hard’ and ‘tight’ - the ‘harder’ a mask dries, the more dead skin cells will be removed as the mask is washed off.
